Jamison was mayor of Crooks, SD from 2015-2019.

A licensed attorney, trained mediator, Certified Valuation Analyst through the National Association of Valuators and Analysts, and Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor through the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors. Jamison brings over 20 years business development and transactional experience to the firm.

As an attorney, Jamison worked with business sales, transactional law, and business planning and succession. Jamison was the Director of the Governor’s Office of Strategic Initiative for the State of South Dakota, where he was a business recruiter, international relations lead, science and technology policy officer, and entrepreneur advisor. He was the Governor’s staff-lead working in conjunction with department heads and outside counsel on the due diligence on and acquisition of the Homestake Gold Mine. In the private sector he consulted on the Gluco Boy™ (now Bayer Didget® ) development and exit.

From 2011 until their merger with Sanford, he represented The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society on their nationwide home health and hospice acquisitions as their outside M&A advisor. Experienced in various sizes and types of transactions: large scale home health care acquisitions, restaurant franchises, distilleries, cattle companies, aviation services, etc.

Jamison’s legal background and love for entrepreneurs keep him involved with all levels of business development: from start-ups and franchises, to larger acquisitions and sales.   His passion for teaching has led him to teach at the University of South Dakota as faculty in the Political Science Department, and he was Chair of the Business Department at Mount Marty University.  His areas of academic expertise center on the intersection of government and business, ethics, entrepreneurship, and sales.

Jamison is a Truman Scholar, a Dale Carnegie Highest Achievement Award Winner, M&A Award Winner, a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, former Grand Knight for Knight’s of Columbus, and is managing Partner of Rounds International LLC and Value Visor. He is an active RV’er, the first licensed distiller in South Dakota post prohibition, was elected mayor of the town of Crooks, SD in 2015-2019 and is married with four children.

Executive Director, M&A, Business Brokerage, Commercial Real Estate, Mediation

Tom Rounds brings 30 years business transactional and lending experience to bear in helping his clients “get the deal done.” He graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Commercial Economics and then spent 3 years in Texas, working in telecommunications for GTE of the Southwest. An opportunity to work at a small local bank brought him and his family back to his hometown of Pierre where he has been working with the business community ever since. 

In addition to M&A and real estate, Tom owns and has owned several businesses: All Around T-s & Trophies and All Around Graphix,  The Donut Shop, Nystrom Electric, and Dakota Spirits Distillery (aka Bickering Brothers).  As a business owner himself, he is familiar with operations, employee retention, and all aspects of starting, growing, and exiting a business.

Tom also has 25 years experience as a banker.  Tom has worked with American State Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, and Home Federal Bank. He understands SBA 504 and 7A lending.  He loves reviewing the finances and putting the deal together. He understands the needs of the business owners. He also has developed the network in the region to match buyers with sellers and dreamers and doers with the right lenders.

Tom is passionate about his community and was elected to the Hughes County commission in 2022.  Tom is a Past President and has served on the Pierre Economic Development Corporation Board (PEDCO) for 16 years. PEDCO honored him with its annual Vernon Schuetzle Award of Excellence for “Selfless in giving of themselves to the spirit of economic development in central South Dakota.”He is also active in general service to his community having been Past President of the Pierre/Fort Pierre Exchange Club; PEDCO Board; Capitol Area Soccer Association; Pierre Youth Wrestling; Past Chairperson and served 23 years on the City of Pierre’s Park and Recreation Board; Hughes County Board of Adjustments; and Chairman of Hughes County Planning and Zoning Board. Tom is married, has 4 grown children and 18 grandchildren.

Executive Director, Outside Consultant, and CFO

Michele has been the executive director at the Tri-Cities Home Builders Association, the Executive Director of the South Dakota Hotel and Lodging Association, and has successfully managed successful political campaigns including two gubernatorial campaigns.

Michele’s expertise is in financial management, marketing, public relations, and operations management.  She has been a lobbyist and “boots on the ground” for several organizations and companies in South Dakota.   She is an avid outdoors woman, spending time biking, paddle boarding, and kite surfing.  She is married and lives in Pierre, SD overlooking beautiful lake Oahe.

Jeronimo Wagner is a Senior Financial Analyst at ValueVisor. He focuses on busines valuations, M&A, and spreadsheet analytics. He has degrees in Accounting and Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. He has worked with Morgan Stanley in New York. He is passionate about both micro and macroeconomics. Though he loves living in a world of spreadsheets, he is also an avid athlete, having played soccer at the university and is an assistant tennis coach at Mount Marty University. He was a top 30 national ranked tennis player for Argentina.
Nicholas Macchio

Analyst, Office Management

Nick Macchio has worked in HR and is an analyst and office manager for Value Visor.   Nick spent four years as a catcher for the Mount Marty Lancer’s Baseball team double majoring in Business and Recreation Management.  Nick is passionate about finance and business analytics.  While intending to stay with Value Visor he will be attending the University of South Dakota working on a Master’s in Business Analytics starting in the Fall of 2024.

Jacob Leiseth

MBA, Senior Analyst, Outside Consultant

Jacob started as an intern and file clerk with the firm in 2016. He has since moved into the role of analyst and financial modeler, working year round for the firm while pursuing his undergraduate and MBA at the University of South Dakota on an accelerated program. He received an outstanding finance student award at the University of South Dakota.

Jacob graduated with his MBA in 2021 and is a loan officer with Builder’s Finance.  He provides back-up and  outside consulting services as a Senior Analyst for the Team.

 

Drew Cosand

MBA, CPA, Outside Consultant

Drew has worked as a financial modeler since 2015. He has also worked in the Accounting Department at FISERV and the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society. He owns Cosand Consulting LLC a financial modeling book keeping firm.  Drew began his career with Value Visor as an Intern and still provides outside consulting services. He is currently CFO of Silver Star Carwash Companies.
